ETC Energy works on the ground in developing countries to realise energy access in rural areas. The reality we work with is one where people live far away from cities in dispersed settlements. Our main work is thus to develop channels that are able to reach these people with proven modern energy technologies.

We support the development of such delivery channels by working with local industry networks, businesses, shops, cooperatives, community based organisations, micro financiers and rural technicians.

To make energy access last at least ten years, these actors are well embedded in the rural societies, have the capacity to provide products and services of the right quality and price and should be able to follow always changing and growing customer needs.
