SNV biogas in Vietnam among Ashden Awards prize winners

SNV expressed its gratitude with respect to our contributions to the programme
The prestigious Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy have been announced during a ceremony on 1 July in London. SNV/Vietnam in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) were among the six international prize winners for their work in distributing domestic biogas technology throughout Vietnam; tackling the twin problem of dangerous cooking practices and untreated animal waste.
The pricewinning team congratulated Eric Kamphuis and Melanie Stallen of the ETC Technical Training Program for the considerable part they played in realising the Vietnamese National Biogas Programme results.
